Situated in partially wooded parkland in the grounds of a 16th Century Border Keep forming part of the 10,000 acre Hoddom and Kinmount Estates. To the north and east is the River Annan and Hoddom Castle Golf Course. The site has been landscaped so that caravans and tents blend in with the peace and beauty of the surrounding countryside.
Ten minutes drive from the A74(M) and A75, Hoddom is an ideal stopping place for visitors travelling North and South or to and from Ireland. One and a half hours drive from the heart of the Lake District, Galloway and The Borders and two hours from Glasgow and Edinburgh, the Park is well situated not only for exploring Dumfriesshire, but also for trips further afield.
The site is well equipped and in addition to the normal facilities such as toilets, showers, electric hook-ups, shop, bar, launderette, restaurant/take-away, also offers exclusive fishing, quality golf, countryside walking, mountain bike trail, tennis courts, children's play area, barbecue area, shopping, gas and fuel.
